CHILI Entry Information

How do I enter a chili?

To enter a chili, you'll need to preregister through our ticketing page starting on February 1st. Entry fee is $40, which admits 1 chili, 1 chef, and 1 optional (non-voting) chef’s assistant through the door. Just select either "enter a meat chili", "enter a vegetarian chili" or “enter a kid’s chili” and proceed to checkout. Spots are limited! 

What do I need to bring?

Your chili! We suggest a 12 quart pot to ensure having enough for everyone to have a taste.

A crock pot (any size) to serve your samples from

A serving spoon

A creative name for your chili

Optional toppings or condiments

What will the event provide?

Allotted table space

A name tag for your chili

A card to list possible allergens such as nuts, dairy, and gluten 

Voters sample cups and utensils

An outlet to plug into

What are the prizes?!?

Meat

1st: $500 cash prize and your name engraved in the cauldron trophy

2nd: $250 cash prize

3rd: $100 cash prize

Veggie

1st: $300 cash prize and your name engraved in the cauldron trophy

2nd: $150 cash prize

Kid’s Competition

1st: $100 cash prize and a sweet trophy

2nd: A sweet trophy
